For those of you who wanted to learn how to make this goldwork frog and would like to get started with this beautiful techniques can now sign up to this workshop.
During the session you will learn all the process from the very beginning when you trace the pattern to the last stitch of the design.
The cost of the workshop includes the kit with all the materials needed to complete the project: fabric, threads, purls, needles and more.
Apart from what's included in the kit you will need:
- Stand or clamp for free hand embroidery
- Goldwork embroidery scissors
- A velvet board or soft surface to cut the metals
- Tweezers (optional)
- Heat erasable pen for fabric such as PILOT FriXion or a pencil.
During this workshop I will be teaching you all the necessary techniques to complete the project but some experience in embroidery is recommended. If you have any questions about this you can contact me and we can discuss it.
After completing the class you will be able to build and embroider your own goldwork frog and it will inspire you to create your own designs as I will teach you all the process.
The kit includes the printed pattern and all the supplies to complete the green frog as a scissors fob or hanging ornament.
And don't forget to add the crowns if you want to make it into a prince! 🐸👑
For those of you that would like to make other versions of the green frog, I will guide you and teach you how you can create different frogs with the same pattern like the ones you can see in the photo. AND if you also buy with the workshop any of my goldwork boxes or colour bundles I will make sure you have the extras you might need to finish your own versions (I will add you beads for the eyes, felt, etc - please make sure you add in the comment at check out what colour you will want to make).
