Goldwork Robin & Stumpwork Holly Leaves

During this workshop I demonstrate live all the process and teach you how to build and embroider the robin ornament and the stumpwork holly leaves with 3 red berries. 
 
The kit includes all the materials to complete the standing bird and 2 holly leaves with 3 red berries using stumpwork techniques you can see in the photos: fabric, threads, sequins, felt, metals and more.
 
Apart from what's included in the kit you will need:
 
- 8 inches hand free embroidery hoop 
- Goldwork embroidery scissors or embroidery scissors that you will use only to cut metals.
-Embroidery scissors
- A velvet board or soft surface to cut the metals (ie. small beading mat)
- Mellor (optional - you can also use one of the chenille needles included in the kit)
- Tweezers
- Heat erasable pen for fabric such as PILOT FriXion Clicker Erasable Gel ink pen or just a pencil.
- Stiletto or awl - or some tool to pierce the fabric
 
The workshop and the kit include all the supplies and instruction you'll need to create the standing robin ornament, complete with two holly leaves and three red berries. But we also discuss about compositions in the second session. I'll guide you in creating a full wreath around the robin using your own ideas and supplies. 
The kit includes the pattern with the wreath. AND if you buy with the workshop any of my goldwork boxes or colour bundles I will add you extra gifts you might need to finish your own full wreath (For example, I will add you the fabric and felt) - please make sure you write in the comment section at check out any idea of what you want to make if you already have one :)
