This workshop will be taught in one live session via Zoom.

To sign up, complete the sign up form and you will receive an email with all the information about how to get ready for the class, the zoom link, and more.

​The session will be recorded, and everyone who signs up will receive a link to the recording after the class.
If you can’t attend live—or simply wish to revisit the session—you’ll have unlimited access. The recording link will not expire, so you can watch it whenever and as many times as you like.

​🕊️ What We’ll Be Stitching

In this free workshop, we’ll be stitching the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a goldwork design created to adorn a Bible bookmark designed by Ecclesiastical Sewing.

You’ll learn a variety of goldwork techniques, including:

• Appliqué

• Couching

• S-ing with purls

• Blending coloured metal threads

• Padding

• Creating goldwork roses
  ...and more!

We’ll also explore the different types of goldwork metals and threads, and how to identify and use them.

I’ll guide you through the entire process from the very first stitch to the final detail, and share tips for adapting the design with materials you might already have at home.

Please note, there's no obligation to purchase the kit for attending the workshop. You're welcome to join using materials you may already have at home—I'll be sharing tips during the session on how to adapt the design with your own stash.

Ecclesiastical Sewing is offering a free printable pattern for the Bible bookmark, along with a step-by-step YouTube tutorial to guide you through the assembly.

​

They’ll also have a limited number of kits available, including the beautiful fabrics needed to complete the full piece. Once these are gone, they won’t be restocked.
