Northern Mockingbird Brooch
Self-Paced Goldwork & Stumpwork Workshop
Kit + Workshop Videos + PDF Written InstructionsFree standard worldwide shipping is available, with tracked shipping available at checkout.
The workshop I originally taught at the Embroiderers' Guild of America 2025 National Seminar in Dallas is now available for you to enjoy at your own pace, wherever you are in the world.
Learn from the comfort of your own home with 4 hours of clear close up videos, together with comprehensive PDF written instructions. The workshop was filmed live during the original class, allowing you to experience the genuine workshop as it happened. Every technique is demonstrated step by step, and with lifetime access you can pause, rewind and revisit the lessons as often as you wish. There are no schedules, no time zones and no expiry date, just the freedom to stitch whenever it suits you.
I'll guide you through every stage of the project to the very last stitch. Throughout the workshop you'll learn a wide range of goldwork and stumpwork techniques, including:
- Couching
- Sequin formation
- Padding
- Long and short stitch with smooth purls
- Chipping
- Neat backing and finishing techniques
- And many more tips and techniques along the way

About the workshop videos
The videos were filmed during the original live workshop, so rather than a scripted studio production, you'll experience the class just as my students did. You'll see every demonstration, explanation and technique in real time, with clear close-up views throughout. It's the closest experience to sitting in the classroom with me, and you'll also benefit from the questions and discussions that naturally arose during the workshop.
Accessing your workshop
Once your order has been placed, I will personally send you an email with access to the workshop videos and downloadable PDF instructions. As I send these manually, please allow a little time for your email to arrive.
If you have any questions about the workshop, please don't hesitate to contact me at info@clarastitching.com.
I look forward to stitching this Northern Mockingbird together with you.
