Create a shimmering composition of three koi fishes with this complete goldwork embroidery kit.
The kit includes all the materials, printed pattern and templates needed to complete the design exactly as shown in the photo.

This project explores a wide range of traditional and modern goldwork techniques, including stumpwork to build the fish bodies, couching, chipping, sequin formation, color blending with metal threads, and more.
 
It’s a one-off kit not previously released, suitable both as a standalone project or as a beautiful complement to those who have stitched the Orange Koi Fish before.
 
Apart from what’s included in the kit, you will need:
8" hand-free embroidery hoop (you can find hoops stands and clamps in my shop)
Goldwork scissors or embroidery scissors reserved for cutting metals
Standard embroidery scissors
Velvet board or soft surface for cutting metals (e.g. a small beading mat)
Mellor (optional – one of the chenille needles included can be used instead)
Heat-erasable pen such as Pilot FriXion Clicker Gel Pen, or a simple pencil to transfer the pattern.
Stiletto, awl, or similar tool for piercing the fabric
